The Bachelorette!

I am just loving Ali this season as the Bachelorette! She is super straight-forward and tells the guys like it is. I am excited for the upcoming episodes "Around the World" but I think it might be a bit much. Aren't fairy tale dates and private jets enough to distort your view of these guys? Why not add traveling to foreign countries?!

Just sayin'. Don't be surprised to be let down when real life comes. I wonder why these relationships rarely last...it entertains me though, so keep it coming!!

Doggy Dash 2010!

This weekend Mr. Awesome and I participated in the SPCA's annual Doggy Dash. We skipped a year because of the wedding madness, but were happy to participate again.

It's definitely gotten much bigger than years past, and happy to spend a few hours with fellow dog lovers. Toby rocked his adorable camo shirt, and Mr. Awesome sported this year's shirt.

Wishful Wednesday...SATC-2!

Since it's a short week, it's TECHNICALLY Wednesday, right?

'I wish' .... I could be the one and only
Samantha in SATC2!!

This was a hard choice, but I have been with the same man for almost 11 years! Not that I would change anything about my life, it would just be a total change of pace to be a Samantha, and be with different men all of the time.

It would be a different experience to say the least, and I can definitely see myself getting arrested for being on the beach! She also doesn't take any crap from anyone. I also like the fact that she has a moisturizing routine and makes sure to take her vitamins. I can relate to that!

Malia's Bachelorette Party!

We piled into a Yukon, chock full of wine and snacks and headed down to NAPA VALLEY! Most notably in our vehicle was nacho cheese...4 containers to be exact, Pink Velvet cupcakes and a peach colored...cake.

We went wine tasting, lounged by the pool, munched on nacho cheese and goodies, saw the SATC-2 movie, and went to a few bars. We had a great time disrupting the normally peacful Napa Valley and gave the security a run for their money. We had a great time and I'm sure Napa was happy to have us hotties out of their town. :)

The Wine Mobile!

Kaila, bringing the goods for the SATC-2 Movie!

Sushi Mambo! Smallest restaurant EVER.

The B2B and Saki Bombs!

Me, Kaila and Malia at Castillo de Amarosa (Castle of Love!)

Us at Domaine Chandon for dessert and champagne. Let's just say it was REALLY nice of our server to take a picture of us.

This can actually happen?

So I know you can be too fat to fly, but you can also be too drunk? I know we have standards for our pilots, but our passengers too?

That's awesome.

Note to self...

Read the article here:
Jonathan Rhys Meyers Too Drunk Get On Plane

And for those of you who (like me) have NO idea who this guy is, and how ge got into US Weekly, here is the DL...
Who is Jonathan Rhys Meyers?

You're welcome.

But You're Like Really Pretty SATC Girls

This is hilarious! With the new Sex and the City 2 movie coming out, this is just perfect. This is one of my favorite websites that has a new celebrity parody each Wednesday. Go here to see this fabulous treat.

New Diet Plan?

Apparently 50-Cent lost a ridiculous amount of weight for a new movie role. He did it by walking for 3 hours a day on the treadmill and a liquid diet. Wait, he's in movies?

This led to the following conversation:

Kristen: 3 hour walks and liquid diet?

Kristen: hmmmmm

Breanne: gross

Breanne: I wish I could do that

Kristen: me too

Breanne: I wish I had time for 3 hours of anything outside of work

Kristen: um yeah

Breanne: if you turn pizza into liquid is it still bad for you?

Kristen: hahahaha

Kristen: that's a great question

Oh, and here's 50-Cent normally:

Friday Inspiration

“Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory or defeat.”

Mini-Me

I found these pics and I kinda was a cute baby. It got awkward when I hit about 10, then got cute again at 16. Ahhhh, how times change.

In celebration of my years on this earth, I wanted to share these pictures. It's fun to see how we evolve into the people we are today!

How awkward did you used to be?

Baby Kristen

Probably around 7?

About 12...

About 16/17. Still could use a highlight, but a vast improvement. *smile*

Birthday Girl

So, today is my birthday, and I am so lucky to have such amazing family and friends in my life. We celebrated on Saturday night at Dave & Busters, which was a total disaster. Luckily I had some drinks in me, but was pretty Hangry (combination of Hungry and Angry=Hangry) so needless to say I wasn't a happy camper.

However, just being with my friends made me happy. We didn't get any group shots since we were spread in the bar area and then seperated into 5 tables. Not kidding. To say I'm disapointed in D&B is an understatement. They tried to make it up with Donut Holes, but that just added more cellulite to my booty. Sooooo, fail.

...But my awesome friends make up for all things that could go wrong. xo

Summertime!!!!

This warm weather up here in Northern California has got me thinking about Summertime! This song has always been one of my favorites. Plus, I just love Will Smith, even in his 80's fit.

I can't wait to ride my cruiser around, lounge by the pool, and have many glasses of wine on our patio.

Awesome Weekend!

I had an amazing weekend to say the least! Exhausted by the time Sunday evening came around {think 5 hour nap!!!}, but was so worth it.

Mr. Awesome and I met up with some friends at the Rivercats Game on Friday evening. Being the little kids we are, Mr. Awesome bought a batting helmet {for safety of course} and I got a pink claw. I of course opted for the pink, but notice the actual "official" color is maroon.

Saturday during the day, I hit the nail salon with  Bre then to the mall for some Mommy shopping. I may or may not have found these fabulous shoes as well!

Saturday evening I headed over to another friend's birthday dressed up for some horse racing! We looked fabulous and recieved many $1 wine "shots" paid for. Definitely will be going back!

On Sunday we had a Champagne Brunch with the Mom's, then headed to a chick flick. Their choice; The Back Up Plan. It was actually a lot funnier than I expected it to be.

Cheers to Motherhood!

Wishful Wednesday...on a Friday!

'I wish' .... I was fluent in another language in addition to English, and it would
be Vietnamese!
I would really like to know what the nail ladies are saying. It would be awesome to jump in the conversation with them, like Gretchen Weiners in Mean Girls.
